1. A sign introduced from American Sign Language (ASL). It is now familiar to most Auslan signers. It is a sign for 'group' made with the handshape for the letter 'O' in the ASL one-handed fingerspelling alphabet. (Today most Auslan signers use two 'okay' handshapes instead (see the other sign that matches the keyword 'organisation').
