Sign Definition
As a Pointing Sign
1. Used to refer to people the signer is talking to. English = you. Informal English = yous, youse, you lot, you-all, all of you.
Note
1. The two flat hand variants can be more polite and formal and are especially used when signing to a large crowd of people or giving a speech.
2. The sign is usually used immediately next to a verb and can mean the people do the action or that the action is done to them (because another person or thing does the action). The interpretation depends on a number of factors, such as the type of verb and the number of other people or things talked about in the sentence or which of them are relevant in the context.
