General Definition

1. The action of tying something around an object to secure it, such as a piece of meat or a whole bird.

As a Verb or Adjective

1. To use string to tie up a piece of meat (usually a whole bird) before roasting. May be used for presentation or to hold meat in place around stuffing. English = truss.
